Well this morning we had a fun trip to the ER. Mom woke up early with a lot of pain in her lower back so we decided to go in and make sure nothing real bad was going on. It seems that all the hard coughing she has been doing is really putting some strain on her back and causing her muscles to spasm. It's quite painful, but we are thankful it's nothing more serious at the moment. So that is the end of the exciting news for the day.  We had a wonderful ER doctor who prescribed some pain meds that will keep mom more comfortable until her next Oncology appt.

  Mom has a  surgical appt with a urologist next Tues the 11th to put in a shunt because of a tumor in her pelvis that  is starting to push into her bladder.  So that will be a busy day but we expect that everything will go well.  Thank you all for your continued prayers.
