So yesterday mom had her first visit with Dr. Obenchain.  She was very thorough and had all of mom's records to date.  However, there are still a couple of test results that we are waiting on...  and until we have those the Drs cannot really give us any more information than we already have.  They have to figure out the origin of the cancer to determine prognosis, types or treatment etc.  So unfortunately we do not have any new info to share at this time.  It is very frustrating waiting for all these tests.  We are hoping that Dr. Roa will have some results back when we visit with him tomorrow.   After we visit with Dr. Roa we will make another apt with Dr. Obenchain. 
  In reality it could be another couple of weeks before we have any more answers.  But mom really liked Dr. Obenchain and we feel that she is in good hands with her.  We are confident she will get the ball rolling a little faster.   
  We were able to get mom some new pain meds that will hopefully help keep her back pain at a tolerable level.  That's all for now :)
